The HSA ‘Intro to Scuba’ programme gives you a taster of Scuba Diving without the commitment of enrolling on the full Open Water Diver certificated course. This is an ideal first step if you are looking to get a taster of Scuba Diving to see if it is for you.
Course Description
This HSA Intro to Diving experience includes:
• A classroom session where you will learn the basics of how to Scuba dive safely along with a skills briefing
• An introduction to Scuba equipment and how it all works together
• A 90 minute practical session in a safe heated pool, trying out some new Scuba Diving skills
Course Delivery
This is a half day course delivered on a Saturday afternoon in Bolton.
Entry requirements
To participate in this experience you will need to:
• Complete a self-declaration of medical fitness to dive
• Be aged 10 years or above

Where you complete this course
Your experience will start in one of our four dedicated training rooms at Bolton Area Divers. Unit 10a Brownlow Business Park, Tennyson Street, Bolton. BL3 4UW. We will then travel to Turton Sports Centre to complete the in-water section of your training.
