At Bolton Area Divers, we offer a wide range of services to help keep you diving safely.
Bolton Area Divers can service most cylinders. For Scuba Diving in the UK, the legal requirement is a cylinder testing is every 2 ½ years. Cylinders for surface use only (for use filling air guns for example), the requirement is a service once every 5 years.

Scuba Regulators need to be serviced by a qualified professional once a year or once every 100 dives, whichever comes first.
Scuba regulators should only be serviced by a qualified service technician. Bolton Area Divers have service technicians qualified to service all manufacturers of Scuba Regulators.

Air
Air fills can be provided up to 300bar. Air fills for club members are FREE.
All other air fills for non club members are:
- 230bar single cylinder fills £4.00
- 230bar twinset fills £6.00
- 300bar single cylinder fills £5.00
- 300bar twinset fills £8.00
Nitrox / Oxygen
Nitrox fills are available up to and including 100% please prebook a couple of days in advance.) All blending is undertaken to current HSE and guidelines and by competent gas blenders. Cylinders must conform to current HSE guidelines.
Customers MUST produce their Nitrox certification card at the time of each fill. Nitrox will only be provided the customer to the level of qualification.
Any other Nitrox mix will be charged at 1.5p per litre of oxygen added.

Our Air
Our air purity certification, for both compressors, exceeds current HSE guidelines for standard air purity and Nitrox blending purity. A certificate of conformity is displayed next to each compressor at all times.

Trimix
Please email us regarding any Trimix fills you wish to have.
We reserve the right to drain cylinders and charge customers for the fill if a valid certification card cannot be produced on collection.
Rental of equipment will be charged at the following rates.
A refundable deposit of £50 is required to cover lost / damaged equipment whilst in the possession of the hirer. This deposit must be paid by CASH or CREDIT CARD and will be refunded in full once all equipment has been returned and checked by a B.A.D. Ltd. member of staff.

If equipment has been damaged / lost whilst in possession of the hirer the £50 refundable deposit will be retained and the cost of repair / replacement will be charged at the following rates (less £50 refundable deposit).
If any item of equipment has been passed to a B.A.D. Ltd. member of staff whilst at the dive location this must be confirmed with the relevant member of staff before the deposit is returned to the hirer.
