Children’s Activities
Information:
Bolton Area Divers are pleased to be recognised as the ONLY PADI Approved Youth Training Centre for Scuba Diving in the North West of England.
This status means we take the care of your child very seriously, with their safety as our number one priority. In addition to having a Safeguarding policy and trained Safeguarding Officers in place, all our PADI qualified staff have DBS clearance.
We offer water-based training for Children aged 5 years + in the form of Snorkelling and Supplied Air Snorkelling in full Scuba Kit.
From ages 8+, we can train your child how to Scuba dive and have loads of fun in a safe, heated pool. Sessions range from a half day experience dive, to a series of sessions, developing their diving skills.
Age 10 is the minimum age we can train your child to Scuba dive in open water (although this does depend on the individual child and their readiness to enter open water). Once qualified as a Junior Open Water diver, there are lots of other Scuba courses suitable for 10+ years.
Scuba Parties – If you would like a party with a difference for your Child, then look no further. We offer a range of different party option for Children aged 8 years and upwards. Just drop us an email or call us for more information on our parties.
Children’s Dive Club – once your Child is a qualified Scuba Diver, they can join the Bolton Area Divers Club and join us on a range of Scuba Trips (UK and abroad), together with any non-diving family members. Everyone is welcome!
