Every couple of months we will be doing a quick interview with each of our staff members. We would warmly like to start off this segment with Paul Greenough, one of our longest running instructors!
Name: Paul Greenough
What is your dive qualification: I am a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
When and where did you learn to dive?: I learnt with Bolton Area Divers in 2002!
What is your favourite piece of dive equipment?: My optical mask.
Name one place that is on your bucket list for diving: I would really love to head to the Maldives and the Great Barrier Reef.
Describe a memorable dive: One of my most memorable dives from a couple of years ago was the Shinkoku Maru in Truuk Lagoon. We penetrated and there was so much amazing history to be seen. There was a huge mast to ascend, via crows nest, at 90 deg to surface which was just incredible to see.
What is your go to dive advice: Don’t drink and dive, especially at the same time, the water ruins the taste of the Shiraz!!
Do you prefer wreck diving or scenic: Wreck, wreck, wreck every time!!!
What is your favourite sealife creature to see or wish to see?: I wish to see and am yet to dive with a manta however my favourite to see is a large porcupine fish.
Show us some dive images of yourself:
Thanks Paul!
